Trevor DeVries

Associate Professor, Department of Animal Biosciences, Ontario Agriculture College

Trevor completed a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and  PhD in Animal Science at the University of British Columbia where he established himself as a leader in the intersection of nutritional management and animal welfare and behaviour. Trevor followed his PhD with a post-doc at Agriculture and Agrifood Canada in Alberta and then moved to the University of Guelph Kemptville Campus where he conducted research and teaching for 8 years. In 2015 Trevor joined the main campus at the University of Guelph. Trevor is the Canada Research Chair in Dairy Cattle Behaviour and Welfare.
