Dairy Health Management Continuing Education Program
The Dairy Health Management Continuing Education Program at the University of Guelph provides intensive, science-based education to progressive dairy veterinarians to expand their knowledge, skills and attitudes so they may enhance the health, profitability and sustainability of dairy farms.
The concept of the DHMCP was pioneered at the University of Guelph in 1990 as a means for dairy practitioners to gain advanced knowledge in dairy production medicine in a format consistent with the demands of practice. The program was overwhelmingly successful and has since been emulated at several other universities. The fourth series of the program was completed in 2019.
We couldn’t put on an outstanding dairy program without outstanding sponsors! A big thanks to the contributions of the companies listed below.
The 2022 DHMCP Annual meeting is scheduled for May 17.
The 2017-2019 cohort of the DHMCP is now complete. Stay tuned for updates on the annual meeting.
