Dairy Health Management Continuing Education Program
The Dairy Health Management Continuing Education Program at the University of Guelph provides intensive, science-based education to progressive dairy veterinarians to expand their knowledge, skills and attitudes so they may enhance the health, profitability and sustainability of dairy farms.
The concept of the DHMCP was pioneered at the University of Guelph in 1990 as a means for dairy practitioners to gain advanced knowledge in dairy production medicine in a format consistent with the demands of practice. The program was overwhelmingly successful and has since been emulated at several other universities. The fourth series of the program is currently underway and will run from May 2017 to April 2019.
