Mike Steele

Mike was raised on a dairy farm in Ontario that began a life-time interest in dairy cows. Mike completed a Masters and PhD in Animal Nutrition at the University of Guelph. He has worked in industry as the head dairy nutritionist for Masterfeeds in Canada and as a research scientist for Nutreco Canada Agresearch. In 2014 Mike joined the University of Alberta as an Assistant Professor of Ruminant Physiology and Nutrition. In fall 2018, Mike returned to Ontario to the Animal Biosciences department of the University of Guelph as an Assistant Professor in Animal Physiology.
