Cynthia Miltenburg

Cynthia Miltenburg is a staff member in the Department of Population Medicine at OVC. She completed her BSc (2008) and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (2010) at the University of Guelph. She practiced large animal medicine in Eastern Ontario for several years and in 2015 she completed a Doctor of Veterinary Science degree in Ruminant Health Management. Her doctoral research focused on the management of peripartum dairy cows for metabolic health and immune function which included studies on calcium status and prepartum housing strategies. During her studies she practiced as a clinician at the OVC Ruminant Field Services. In 2016 Cynthia began coordinating the fourth class of the Dairy Health Management Continuing Education Program.
